TS Gateway port change possible?
_maurice
Hey guys,
I have installed Remote Desktop Connection 6.0 on my laptop, and have installed Windows Server 2008 using TS Gateway service to tunnel RDP traffic over SSL. It works great in my lab; packet captures verify that only port 443 is being used.
The problem is that I have a Cox cable connection, and they filter port 443 inbound from the internet so that you can't host your own web server.
Is it possible to change the port that TS Gateway uses to something else other than 443? If so, how do you enter the new port for the TS Gateway on the RDPv6 client side? The TS Gateway Server name field is not accepting [ip]:[port].
Thanks!

You could use port forwarding on your router to forward something like 4430 external to 443 on the TS Gateway, but the problem is the client, as far as I know there is no way to modify it to allow you to specify a port for the TS Gateway (since MS doesn't support it on anything but 443).
