70-646 vs. 70-647

I am going for the SA and then EA ... I was wondering when I study for the 70-647 exam, if I am able to pass 70-646 as well.

Basically I want to take both exams at the same day when the the 647 is "just" more than 646.

I know I could go straight to EA anyway, but we get a pay raise when we get the SA cert so unless I manage to gain the EA in the same month, I would lose precious money when I skip SA lol

Does it make sense ? I am not native and I have no clue how to express myself better what I mean ...

I have heard from people who have taken both that they are very similar. Check out the "mesured skills" on both pages and then adjust your study for both.
