Jetdirect Password

I recently bought a used HP Laserjet 4300, I was trying to administer the jetdirect via HTTP, and I was prompted with a password that I do not know, is there a default password for this? or can I reset this to factory defaults?

The factory reset procedure for a HP LJ is:

Power off the printer completely and then disconnect all the cables apart from the power cable.
Hold down the tick button and power on the printer. Keep holding it down until all the lights light up
There should be a menu at this point and have an option to do a factory reset.

If it doesn't work then wait until its got the memory tester onscreen and then hold the tick button.

There is another one as well which totally wipes the printer clean including counters but you're not really supposed to use that one.

Maybe this guy just wiped the counter and sold this printer to me... I would be so pissed off...

I would probably use the telnet route than the web interface...
