I must ask, does anyone ever feel overwhelmed in our line of work?
If so how do you deal with the stress?

KGhaleon Member Posts: 1,346 ■■■■□□□□□□I like to go into my coworkers machines and delete their ntldr file. I then sit back and watch them squirm. It makes me happy.

As for me? I like to go walking whenever I can, just take a five or ten minute break from work and walk a bit. If I can't do that, I'll take a few minutes and mess around online, like post on this forum or chat with friends on Google Talk. Life, in general. . . I tend to take time off whenever I can to just relax. I'll go out to the coast on weekends, I go to the gym on weeknights, I've been training kung fu since 1999 and I find that it helps me drain away stress. I also like to take an hour or so a day and just sit and relax with my other hobby, which is more than enough to forget about stress at work, stress at home, or the traffic-jam I'm in.

I've felt overwhelmed by trying to at least vaguely know what I'm doing for every product I've had 0 experience with that I'm deploying.
But c'est la vie with consulting...Good luck to all! -
