.......So everyone please wish me luck. I am going through practice exams as we speak. Using measure up.... I have been coding web apps for a while still, I am not taking any chances. I will report the results...............in 2 weeks. Who passed this exam. It doesn't look anywhere as bad as 536..... 536 was a pain the chapters never ended !

- The material is not as voluminous as the 536, so I think subconsciously, I was expecting it to be "easier" - How wrong I was -. I went through the whole training kit (more than once) - however i didn't do any of the end of chapter coding exercises.
Comparing my 536 score ( I coded all the end of chapter exercises) to the 528, I think the end of chapter exercises are very useful and helps solidify concepts introduced in the chapter. I absolutely recommend CODING (not copying and pasting) the end of chapter exercises.....I did much better on the 536
I bought practice "exams" from Measure up and they were absolutely useless. 150 problems of time wasting is what they were. I think sometimes, the "practice exams" can give you a false sense of preparation...... I answered them consistently and fairly correctly. I Read the test kit, in and out and understood the main points.... However when I went through the first 10 questions of the exam, I started panicking.... I was even wondering if I had selected the right exam because I was like WTF is this???? I regrouped, calmed down and came out with an 85.
It's not impossible but it is no way a walk in the park....
Ofcourse, loads of security problems... ado.net etc. who else has taken this exam? when did you take it and what was your experience like? -
JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,090 AdminThanks for the review and congrats on your pass!!
That's some excellent information. It's good to know there are security questions on the exam.
