Today something just occured to me.
Many years ago, I remember reading the courts wanting to brea-up Microsoft to stop the 'alleged' monopoly power. But now there's talk of Microsoft buying Yahoo, anothre monster company.
This is like mergering the Atlantic ocean with the Pacific ocean.
So, I'm now curious as to what changed that Microsoft is trying to get bigger? Let's assume the Yahoo buyout goes ahead. Wouldn't that raise eyebrows in the courts?
Was the world changed while I was asleep?

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. As you stated, the pieces are nearly all back together: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell_System_Divestiture#End_of_an_era
