A colleague of mine has a copy of Syngress MCSA/MCSA books for 70-290, 70-291 and 70-270.
Should I go ahead and read them or would I be better off actually getting copies of the actual Microsoft Press books for the same certs?
The books that he has look like they were written in 2003 if that makes a difference but they claim to cover 100% of the materials you need to know to pass the exams.

1MeanAdmin Member Posts: 157I used both Sybex and MS Press for 270, 290, 291 and found MS Press to be much better and complete than Sybex. I also had a chance to browse through Syngress and they were okay too.
BTW, when it comes to 293 and 294, MS Press looses to Syngress.
