Login Banner Question

Greetings,

I have been attempting to add a login banner to all our routers and switches. The banner my organization wants to use keeps getting cut off short. I was unaware there was a character limit for a banner. Does anybody know what the character limit is and/or if there is a way to increase it?

Did you mean a login banner or an motd banner?

I think there's an 80 character limit, but I am not sure. Someone want to second that?

Finally found a link with the length of the login banner.

Configure the Login Banner
The login banner, or message of the day, is the text that appears onscreen when you open a Telnet session or console port connection to the switch. The login banner can be up to 255 characters long.
