replacing expansion module in 4507

Okay this may be a dumb question but I am asking anyways. We have a cisco 4507 and the expansion module (48 port poe mod) has some bad ports in it. I have to replace it. Will I have to reconfigure all the ports again or will it hold the same config that is saved on the switch itself for that module? I have tried to find documentation but I must be looking in the wrong spot.

Thanks. I found something that did say if I replace the module with something different it would resort to the default state but this happens to be the same and it did say the config should stay. Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it.
