Preplogic XP dual boot question..what?????

Can anyone explain the correct answer? This is from the Preplogic Exam Cram2 practice CD.
I got the answer wrong, but the correct answer seems to have nothing to do with the question. Where did they mention anyone having access to W2K?

"You need to install Windows XP Professional on a computer that contains Windows 98. You want to configure the system to dual boot with both operating systems. What must you do to allow this?"

correct answer:

"Install Windows 2000 Professional in a seperate directory and do nothing. The computer will automatically allow dual boot."

BTW the test says ......Widows...... 2000

There was a similar question here: http://www.techexams.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=33036

That will technically allow the machine to dual boot. The 98 installation will be trashed, but I guess they don't care about that.

It probably says 2000 because it was originally a question for 2000, and they forgot to update it.

I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Sounds like a typical MS Question and Answer to me?? icon_lol.gif

I would just ignore it, as Dynamik said, just looks like they havent updated the question.
