Quite PSUs

Hi I have a PC and its a bit Noisey Im asuuming its my PSU thats making all this noise
So I was thinking about buying a new one and changing it for a more Silent One

any one here suggest any or recommend anything silent?

Are you sure it's not the fans? Even if it was the PSU, the fan would be making the noise. You might be able to just replace a few fans (possibly even in the PSU) as opposed to shelling out the cash for a new PSU.

I would definitely recommend making sure of where the noise is coming from first as dynamik said.

Yeah Im sure this is where the noise is coming from. Its a pretty basic old PC its a P4 28 Gig 128 Graphics AGP Dont have much on there in terms of Fans its not the CPU Fan so Im Assuming its the Fan on the PSU Unit it seems like its got a chunky PSU and Fan and thats whats making it so loud. 300 Watt PSU gets pretty loud in my bedroom and annoying
its the only bad thing about my PC LOL !
