vmware Fusion (Mac) -- access disk on host

Hi...
I'm running VMWare Fusion Beta 2 on 10.4 server (dual quad core, 4 gig XServe) and we have a 4 TB XRaid on it. Is there any way the VM (Server 2003 Std 32bit) can access the XRaid directly so I can make file shares on it?
In other words, I want to share the XRaid from within the VM.
VMWare's method of accessing the host files is to map to a folder, and I can't share a network drive. Does anyone have any ideas? Is this something Parellels can do more easily?
Thanks,
HT
