Which MCSD!

Hello,
I am new to this user group. I am extremely happy to know that there is a user group like this exists. Actually, I never could stop appreciating usefulness of internet communities.
I am starting to learn MCSD. I wonder is there a MCSD for .net 2.0 and MSCD for 3.5 etc. And if anyone could suggest a book.

There are certs for .NET 2.0 already and I think 3.5 is not quite available yet. They are the MCTS with a more advanced cert called the MCPD.

Look for the section on Microsoft Visual Studio.

In all honesty, I would not go after the MCSD as it is on the .NET 1.1 framework and is out dated. The actual exams for it are scheduled to be discontinued in March of 2009.
