Help Me....Redundancy CM 5.1

Any body can help me,
how do I make 2 CM become Redundancy ?
CM-1 as primary and CM secondly what is as primary too ?
CM-1 as first node and CM second node in installation process ?

can any body help me...step by step configurasion redundancy setup in CM-1 and CM-2

Install CM2 as the subscriber and add it to the callmanager group when configuring it on the Publisher

If you are an amateur when it comes to callmanager I will advice you to read some books about it before deploying.

i will prepare in my workshop two CM for test, but i have some questions ?
1. between CM-1 and CM-2 must have same version ?or can use different version ?
2. Can CM-1 server and CM-2 in VMWare with same version ?

they have to be the same version just to make sure replication takes place properly.


Install one server as a subscriber and one as a publisher. It will ask you during the installation. And yes you can install CM in Vmware with 4.X you can but you have to tweak it. With 6.0 it installs natively on a vmware without any problems.

i done create clustering redundancy CM :
1. CM-1 Server is first node ( Install with CD ) and in CUCM Administration -->System-->Server --> create IP CM VMWare
2. CM-2 in VMWare is second Node (install with CD) -->Succes

but at CM-2 "Service Activation" only "Cisco CallManager" and "Cisco CTIManager" with status Deactivated, if i activate two this service, problem is "Update Failed for the Service(s): Cisco CallManager All the allocated licenses to this node are consumed"
my question is :
1. Can I to activate both service this ?
2. how ?

I have licence for CM-1 Server(Publisher) and done to upload in CM-1 server.
i think licence in CM-1 Server can be share for CM-2(subscriber) ? because this system is redundancy.
