Hi
My question is for the MCSA /MCSE if you have your A+ , Network+ certs will they accept those as electives for both exams even if they are under the old objectives or will I have to take the Security+ exam . I counted 9 exams total that I need to take but I may be wrong .
MCP 1 exam
MCDST 2 exams
MCSE 4 exams minus elective
MCSE 7 exams minus elective
As the exams from the MCSA will carry over for the MCSE exams plus my Network + and my A+ if accepted as electives .
Also how can you redeem the second shot by microsoft as I have already paid for three of my exams already or can it be used when I pay for the fourth one .
Thank you for all of the help

You'll need to do a client exam (either 270 or 620) and then the 290 & 291. My recommendation would be for the 620 as that will give you an MCTS and have you set up on your way a bit for the 2008 upgrade if you choose to do that later on down the road.Jumping on the IT blogging band wagon -- http://www.jefferyland.com/ -
