Mobo not POSTing, no video.

I bought an Intel D975XB2 LGA 775 motherboard and after installing everything and switching the power on, nothing happened. The fans all turned on, the motherboard light came on, but there was no POST and the board has built in speakers. And there was no video.

I tried it without the RAM, then without the Video Card and then without the Processor, but still nothing happens. I tried resetting the BIOS jumpers, pulling out the mobo battery, etc. Still nothing. I sent the board in and recieved a new one and to my dismay I am having the same problems. I know it can't be two DOA motherboards or I am horribly unlucky.

Any suggestions?

Did you plug in both power plugs? Motherboards today typically have a 20/24 port main power pug and a smaller 4/6 port power plug. Also make sure you arent grounding out your board on your case.

When testing a mobo, you should always try it outside of the case on an anti-static wrap with only the basic components connected(power, video, CPU, RAM).
