What if i want to buy something..?

I know there is a "for sale" forum for lab equipment and other ebay/cert resources.. but what about if you are looking to buy something? Would it be appropriate to post in the For sale Forum listing an item You want to buy.. or would it be better to acutally post something in offtopic saying "Want to buy"
