Deploying Firefox Via GPO

I am working on two things that in theory seem very simple, but when I try to implement are kicking my tail.
I am using a firefox MSI from a company called Frontmotion. As well as three different ADM templates. I want to enable my organization to use Firefox, but in order to do that I must be able to control Firefox Via group policy and deploy it to certain OU's via Active directory.
I have never done this with any programs and here is where i am confused.
I am pushing it out by computer, not user. When the computer begins to log on to the domain, it states it is installing, as well as running start up scripts. but it never shows up anywhere.
Do you have any tips for pushing out applications Via group policy? Any one done Firefox. Any help would be great.
Thanks again guys.

You might want to ask the company that made the MSI file. -

Did you use the MSI from:http://www.frontmotion.com/Firefox/howtodeploy.htm?“For success, attitude is equally as important as ability.” - Harry F. Banks -
Silentsoul Member Posts: 260Thanks guys, its been kicking my butt for a few days I've never done it before, so I didnt really know where to start trouble shooting it. Wasn't sure what would cause it to do that. My boss wants Firefox in our environment and I am trying to make it happen before a regional meeting this Thursday so we can be the first to have done it, and get it right. While still getting all my other projects done lol

Silentsoul Member Posts: 260Ok here is a questions for you about Active Directory and Group policy. When I use the the group policy management console and edit an administrative template it does not replicate to to the Domain controller it only works on the local machine? Am I missing something?

One of the new features of 2008 is the XML's that replace ADM's will replicate.Good luck to all! -
Silentsoul Member Posts: 260So everything should work as long as the machine is in the same OU as the GPO right? Thats what is confusing me it only works on the local machine I did it on.

Although they're not related to FF, they have a great PDF reader that isn't a bloated piece of garbage like Acrobat Reader. MSI is available as well: http://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/
