When a user tries to send an email using Outlook 2003, they receive an error message: See below:
"although working OnLine unable to contact master database. System will continue using existing datafile. If this error continues to appear please contact IT"
Does anyone know what this means, as i have not come across this before.

I'll take a guess, but is this an exchange e-mail account, and are they trying to send while not connected to a corporate network? That's the only thing I could really think of...Isn't it funny how after you have the certifications, you don't care about sharing them as much?
