Should I send an email to my interviewer?

My interviewer asked me to comeback for a second interview with the director like 3 weeks ago and she told me that the interview is going to be delay due to vacation. She told me that she is going to contact me in the week of 08/11 and I know is only one day, but I'm thinking if I should send her an email or not. You guys think if it is appropriate to send her an email? and how should I approach her? Thanks

In my opinion I would wait until Monday to make a call if you have not heard back. The interviewer said she will call this week so give her the benefit of the doubt. If by Friday you have not heard anything give her a call Monday and politely ask her the status of the interview.
