in CCNA & CCENT
Hey all, i am still hitting the Odem books hard for CCNA but im interested in A+. I took an A+ course in 04 or 05 when in HS but never followed thru, i thought smokin pot was more important LOL (ah the joys of having no cares). But i am considering it now to be more rounded. I am good with hardware, tho i cant tell u IRQ's or any of the "facts" i can just fix it. 1st question: is A+ worht anything? Question 2: Will it hurt me to work on both at once? and if you have any answers to questions i cant think to ask those would be appreciated.
The thread itself is weak, its the weave that makes cloth strong.

You'd be suprised, I'm coming from a managerial standpoint, but a lot of HR people and stiff suit types are much more familiar with A+. CompTIA markets the A+ pretty well. Of course, any job that is networking related... CCNA all the way. Just from a general recognition standpoint, don't underestimate A+. -

Not taking away from the A+.. i have it to.. but if you want to get higher level .. intermediate jobs.. the A+ is often over looked.. but for entry stuff it does help a lot (it helped me at least).
Cisco pimps out the CCNA pretty hard these days.. look at the 3 new CCNA certs you can getCCIE - COMPLETED! -
