Multicast groups on my routers
Hi,
I'm setting a basic multicast lab. 3 routers in a hub and spoke Frame Relay topology.
The hub is the RP (manual config). PIM is the multicast routing protocol, and Sparse mode is chosen.
When I issue show ip pim rp on my routers, I see two multicast groups: 239.1.1.1 and 240.0.1.40.
I don't know where they came from . Are they default groups?
Thanks.
