Software to notify when a file is created in a folder
Hello All,
I need to find a piece of software that will send an email notification whenever a file is created on a folder. We are currently backing up our VOIP system using a SFTP server which copies all of the backup files to a member server which is then backed up using our various backup methods. However, the voip system provides no notification, and we would like to receive a daily email letting us know that at least some change has occurred.
Any thoughts?

Try Osiris, it's a Host Integrity Monitor but one of it's functions is reporting new/changed files. http://osiris.shmoo.com/ . Free, lightweight and not hard to install/configure.We responded to the Year 2000 issue with "Y2K" solutions...isn't this the kind of thinking that got us into trouble in the first place?
