like the confusion I had with multiple Cisco sources saying different things about multicast querier elections I'm finding different opinions on ISIS DIS election with one saying highest priority then highest mac address and another saying lowest priority then lowest mac address wins
can anyone shed some light here?

montanablue2 Member Posts: 12 ■□□□□□□□□□I'm pretty sure it's higher in this case. It seems like in most cases higher priorities win elections for most protocols. The lower priority winning the election appears to be the exception to the rule.
