Lab question

How many pc's do you really need to learn the material through lab work? I've got a laptop I can use as a client and desktop I can setup as a server. I assumed I would probably need one more desktop as well.
Can I get by with 2 pc's overall or do you should 3 is best?

3 would be best, but not for a second client. You could create multiple profiles/users or even installations (dual/multi-boot) to have more than one client. If you want two client simulateanously you might be able to run one in a vmware demo, or Microsoft Virtual PC trial. I'd suggest a 3rd computer for a 2nd server, allowing you to set up an ads domain with servers that have different 'roles'.

Good topic. So I have three machines. I use the one I'm on as a daily system. The other two are new, and haven't been completed yet(99%). I could set up the other two as server and client for an AD structure, and maybe use a separate drive on this as another client? Plus if I added a VM program, I could have say, two clients in one machine?
