Power consumption

Hello everybody,

I was assigned to find out the power consumption of all racked devices? Any tips or advice on how to do a great job?

The devices are mostly hardcover router like 6509 and layer 3 switches

Remember that volts*amps=watts
and then remember that 1000watts = 1 KWh

you might want to check on user manuals, or website to get the specs, which should help.
