VMWare Workstation

I am hoping someone can help me. I have Workstation 6 installed and have 3 servers built and running. What i want to do is to take an image of a physical server and import onto on of my virtual servers using the VMWare converter. Do i need to have the drives setup the same as the physical server? If so how do i set up a raid configuration for example? And lastley, can anyone let me know what i need to do in order to run the converter?
