Can anyone thing of a reason why I should not start a folder with an underscore on Linux and Windows base systems? Example: _music
I am trying to keep specific folders at the top when sorted alphabetically.

In windows, folders and files that start with '~' are usually temporary files/folders right?Arrakis -

Yea, and they're great for hiding adult content in!
I'm only kidding.
It's way better to make a True Crypt archive and name it something like ~23478982.tmp.
Or so I've heard...
