Oops, failed 290

Well, shame on me. I made about 624 Friday on the 290 test. I knew I wasn't ready, but I had a discounted voucher that was going to expire. I liked the simulations, because they were at least practical.
Keep this in mind. I usually buy my vouchers from discount outlets on the internet. I found after speaking to my testing center that I couldn't give them a voucher number for the test and also use a second shot voucher number. He told me that I would have to buy my test from him at full price and then apply the second shot voucher number to it. Has anyone else experienced this?
I've never failed a Microsoft test before. I appreciate all the help I've gotten from this forum.

I used to buy the Voucher(no second shot)/Self Test bundle for ~$180, but now I'm trying to figure out if there's a cheaper way instead of paying $125 (voucher) + $109 (Self Test practice exam) = $234.CERTS: VCDX #110 / VCAP-DCA #500 (v5 & 4) / VCAP-DCD #10(v5 & 4) / VCP 5 & 4 / EMCISA / MCSE 2003 / MCTS: Vista / CCNA / CCENT / Security+ / Network+ / Project+ / CIW Database Design Specialist, Professional, Associate

Hey, goto http://www.getcertified4less.com/testvoucher.asp They have the second shot vouchers if you buy from them. They vouchers are usually $115 and if you go to the hot deals they are offering MS exam vouchers for $105. But this ends at the end of September. Not sure if the second chance will work with the $105 deal but it does with the $115. I asked them there and they said that if you fail just use the same voucher number that they gave you to retake it.
Hope this helps. Hopefully you won't have to use the second shot but gives you a sense of piece knowing that you won't have to drop another $125 to re-take it.Darren
