slightly outside the CCNA but I'm curious to know if I do an IOS upgrade on a set of swtiches that are in a stack, Can I apply the update to the master only ??
Or do I need to apply the update to each member of the stack individually ???
off to trawl the cisco site for further reading......

if I say something that can be taken one of two ways and one of them offends, I usually mean the other one :-)

You have to be careful though, you don't want to make too big of a jump because different IOS versions may have different versions of stacking code and you could run into problems. -
