Correct.
Spanned Disks - MUST be NTFS?
No, can be FAT/FAT32 as well, must be dynamic though.
Striped Disks - MUST be NTFS?
No, can be FAT/FAT32 as well, must be dynamic though.
Mounted Disks - do NOT need to be NTFS?
Indeed, the mounted disk can be FAT/FAT32. The folder you mount it to must be on an NTFS volume.
