Just a quickie guys, i am testing moving user mailboxes between a 2000 server and a 2003 server, after moving the mailbox, i log onto an xp machine and noticed that i needed to setup the users email again, is this correct or is there a way to overcome re-creating the connection??

    I'm not 100% sure about 2000 ---> 2003.....but i know for sure with 2003 --> 2003 outlook automatically spots the new server.

    Did you "Set as Master" yet?

    This is what I followed last time and didn't need to go around to all the computers.

    I should also reinforce what's said in the link above: TAKE YOUR TIME!

    People always tend to want to rush exchange migrations. Replication takes time. Migrations should take a few weeks for everything to be fully replicated. Nothing good can come from rushing an exchange migration.

    If it's not seeing the new server, then replication probably hasn't taken place yet.
