The list is getting pretty long. ESXi, Hyper-V, VirtualBox, Xen and xVM. Any others out there?
Also, Sun do xVM and VirtualBox? Is one virtualisation package just not enough for them? I looked it up and it seems xVM = ESX and VirtualBox is like VMware Workstation. -

JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,090 AdminI use VirtualBox on to run Windows XP on Ubuntu, but I don't have any experience with Type 1 Hypervisors. If I had a spare 64-bit machine laying around I'd certainly give Xen a try.

tiersten Member Posts: 4,505I'll probably give xVM a miss. Unless you have a SPARC system, its basically Xen ontop of Solaris.
I guess I could see if I can run it under ESX...
