Finally landed an IT job

I just finished my bachelor's degree last year in MIS and also have my A+, Network+, and my I-Net+. For the past year i've been working in call centers doing tech work, etc. It sucked cause I didn't go to school to wear a headset all day long, no offense to anyone who does. But from last May to now, I have been sending out resumes like crazy, going through interviews, trying to find contract job, etc. Finally, last week I landed myself a job with a great company. I now have a position in their IT dept as a desktop specialist. So the lesson here is, you just have to keep trying cause the jobs are there, but people get hired quickly. Also the HR dept. told me that they don't even look at people that don't have their A+ cert. So certs are a plus. I always try to blame the economy or outsourcing, but the reality of it is, you just have to keep trying and never give up and it's all up to you in how badly you want an IT job. I owe a lot to this site for my certifications and my skills, thanks techexams.net.
