How to make multiple VMware server hd copy

guys can u tell me how to make multiple copies of my hdd copy of server which runs in vm- if just copy paste that hd copy and when i start it and try to log on to the copied hdd- it gives a SID error.. all help appreciated

    Its nothing to do with VMware. You're not supposed to just clone Windows installs like that. Read about SID.

    You should be given the option to create new unique ID's when you move a VM (at least in VMWare you do), for a new live-copy choose to Create new IDs - also ideally make sure you have removed the original from the domain before copying so you just have to add it again when it has been modified by VMWare.
    We responded to the Year 2000 issue with "Y2K" solutions...isn't this the kind of thinking that got us into trouble in the first place?
