Thought I would pass this great post on to others who might not have been following the developments at VMworld this week: http://www.colinmcnamara.com/2008/09/16/cisco-releases-nexus-1000v-virtual-switch-for-vmware

I really like it as the finger pointing is something I have experienced, that and the LAN team cringing at the though of giving up trunk ports, etc into an environment they have no control/insight into... now we don't have to have that problem in the near future.

And it runs NX-OS. Cool.

Yeah no kidding, supposedly there will be more released tomorrow about it so we'll have to wait and see if MSRP is given (or if anyone can find it out)...
