Annoying VMWare Server updates...

Any tips for the annoying vmnet0 errors after an update? Don't state "reinstall VMWare" ... Tried that.
Host > Virtual Network Settings > Host Virtual Adapters ... Been there.
I completely removed and reinstalled to the latest version of VMWare, and I mean removed every found instance in the registry then reinstalled, no dice, once I did my reinstall, it somehow seemed to have broken what I thought Python on my machine, but it mangled/battered ssleay32.dll so now I get ssleay32.dll errors. I tried redoing the dll, no dice:
rgsrv32 ssleay32.dll errs out.
Any thoughts?
