Third time's the charm

Well, I finally passed this feckin exam on my third attempt.

Got 76%

Went through both the Sybex and Official books again.

Wikipedia.

White Papers.

CBT Nuggets.

TrainSignal.

Focused on areas I was weak in and did practive questions from TE's and the two books.

No experience except for SOHO devices.

  • I want to get into networking so I'll be moving onto the Cisco track.

    Starting off with CCNA.

    Interested in Linux as well so will do some study for linux exams when I get time.

  • I'll be going through the Michael Jang book for the RHCE.

    Think I might go for the Linux+ exam first though just to stick it on the CV.

    Seems network engineer roles are looking for people with linux and scripting exp. so that'll be handy.
