I need help with my fedora linux package installation

I download an rpm file and currently running as the root user. After clicking on the file it says It don't have the permission to run the file when I'm running as the root user[/b]

can anyone help me out?

You "click" on it?

Try opening a terminal window (command) and then cd to the directory the rpm is in. Then try:

rpm –ivh filname.rpm

See what happens then maybe? And are you sure your logged in as root?
