OU vs Groups

After pass with successful in security + and ITIL exams is time to try the MS exams, and it`s totally new to me and I have many questions, but one is the big one. What is the difference between OUs and Groups ?

dynamik Banned Posts: 12,312 ■■■■■■■■■□Essentially, OUs are containers that you can apply group policy to and groups are used for security and distribution. If you want to remove the run command from the start menu for a group of users, put them in an OU and configure a GPO on that. If you want to allow them to have a certain level of access for a folder on the network, put them all in a group and configure the group's access on that folder.
