I hadn't even remembered till I spoke with ISC2 today... They keep giving me the run around meanwhile, I had a date, paid the exam, went through the politricks with them over and over. Such an odd assortment of certs... I'd be a little intimidated of someone with all that crap. To date... The only person who intimidated was Scott Morris. That was until we chatted here and there, he's an extremely cool guy who is very down to earth and knows his stuff. However, I think I would whoop him on the security level with of course him mopping the floor with me on the networking side. I could hit him with low blows on the VoIP side but he'd pummel me the Juniper side...

Nah, I've been a member for a while. I like reading the content they have there and watching the podcasts from time to time.

Anyhow on the VoIP side, I see a lot of things which never surface as public domain tools for various reasons. Pays to be @ VoIPSA.

Yes, the tool requires physical access to an organization's network, and that means remote eavesdropping isn't possible with UCSniff. But for anyone with access to an ethernet port of the company they want to intrude upon, it could prove invaluable.

What's irresponsible/reckless is so many people forget the insider attack. So here goes why some should worry about this... Someone leverages via malware, etc., a machine, that machine is on the network, UCSniff is now pseudo remote. Too many people in security haven't been paying attention to the core. An attack is an attack is an attack. The slacker attitude of "oh, local, I don't care" is insane.
