I usually wouldn't post something like this but this is an outstanding deal that is ending today.
Dell small business is doing their 40 deals in 10 days. If you don't get in on this there are some more servers coming up tomorrow BUT the deals are only good for two days.

That was cheap for a low end server. Would be cool to have purchased that for home use or something. Now dell has a Vostro laptop for $399 with an AMD dual core proc and 2GB of RAM. Just thought I would put that out there because it is so cheap for a decent laptop.

yea i picked one up for the house to toy around with maybe take it back old school throw an ftp server on there for some friends.

I been looking at a streaming media server, kind of run my own internet radio station, just have a feeling Comcast will cry about it.

Remember, you have about 200gb of bandwidth per month, so if you exceed that for a few months, you could just have your account shut down.

I upped it to 2 gigs. but I am gonna buy another 2 on my own cheaper than dell would give it to me.


As far as comcast is concerned i am thinking about getting something else but i am on a commercial account with my APT complex and get a really good deal. But i have been really un happy with them lately.
