I am not familar with compact flash on a cisco router?
is it for backup or is it for keeping all your configs and does it replace NVRAM?
and RAM or what..so when your router dies you just pop flash out and pop in new say 2800 router and bam it is up and running in a flash????? of a moment??

wow so if router goes brick you just take config out and put back in new one..
I knew that was psosible but wasnt sure if it was just a backup to the NVRAM
but then again why have two NVRAMs nice thanks
just getting into new rouers and switches at my new jobs so was just curious
thank you!
