Hello all

I'm a government contractor looking to get through life w/o a degree, for now..

Surprised to find this site. Found it while looking for " the long road to CISSP "

I look forward to sharing ideas and mostly learning from you all.

Already seen a guy here with what looked like 8+ Cisco certs ><

Welcome. There's a pretty wide variety of people here, including gov't contractors, and lots of military, so you're in good company. Are you pursuing the CISSP, or were you just browsing?

    Welcome to TE! :D

It's been a while since I've noticed a "welcome the new member" thread. Nice to see the tradition returning.

First, thank you all for the welcome.
Its usually a requirement on forums that you post a hello thread before you start asking questions. Didn't see the sticky but did it out of habit.

I'm pursuing the CISSP but not now, just on the road to collecting knowledge in the like certifications to make it easier when I decide to finally get it. I'd rather not just jump into something that complicated and be lost in the journey. I want to learn the information not just remember it for the test.

mikej412 was the one with the library of certs. I recognized that big eyed animal in his avatar, lol.
