Always want to know these things, when start a certification
Hello guys,
whenever I start studying a certification, I always wonder:
1) how long does it takes (roughly)?
2) what resources to use?
3) was it hard to pass?
So, now that I've passed Server+, I decided to leave this important questions answered for people like me
1) it took me around 10 weeks (20-25 hours a week)
2) I used TESTOUT, EXAM CRAM2, SYNGRESS SERVER+ book and tests, this webpaga and the www.proprofs.com
3) I was very disappointed with myself after seeing 639 score only (after seeing the first 20 question, got convinced will pass in the high part of the scale), I suppose my arrogance got me lost.
I hope this is helpful for somebody

rcoop Member Posts: 183Thanks for the post... been really trying to get myself motivated to get through all the content covered by this exam... it just seems huge.
I've ended up switching back and forth between studying the 70-431 (SQL) exam and Server+ just so the interesting will stay fresh.
I also like seeing peoples prep time, and materials used.
Good Luck in the future.
