Can You please correct me if i'm wrong :-)

Guys I'm planning on taking the following paths:
MCSA 2003 = A+ and N+, 70-620, 70-290 and 70-291
MCSE 2003 = Sec+, 70-620, 70-290, 70-291, 70-293 and 70-294 + 70-297
MCITP: Enterprise Administrator = MCSE 2003 + 70-649 + 70-647 + 70-620

That doesn't sound very right to me (although that is what I'm thinking of doing), can somebody clarify if my thinking is correct?

Thanks in advance
Long term plan:
2011: CCNA (70%), CCNA: Security, MCITP:Messaging
2012: VCP, CEH, Linux+, start RHCA/E
2013: finish RHCA/E, CCNP

That's right. Why do you think it isn't?

because I'm thinking of using 70-620 3 times?

But if I understand correctly, I can use it once for any cert
    (MCSA/MCSE or MCITP: Enterprise Administrator)?

Thanks for Your very quick reply

You'll be able to use it anywhere it's mentioned regardless of whether you've used it for another cert.

Yeah, the tests are cumulative, they don't get "used up" or else you'd have to take 290, 290, 291, 291, Elective, Elective, 293, 294, 297/298 to get an MCSE. That just plain wouldn't make sense to have to take the same test twice when you've already passed it.

There is an exception. I don't believe you can use 70-620 as your MCSE 2003 client exam + an elective. If you take 70-270, then 70-620 can qualify for an elective.
    Good luck to all!

Yea, once per track, obviously. He was asking if he could use it for the MCSE and the MCITP:EA.

Yup, that's exactly right. Since MCSE builds on MCSA, there's no conflict there. Microsoft is also very clear on the fact that 70-620 counts towards both the MCSA/MCSE track and MCITP: Enterprise Administrator. It's a good plan, I hope you stick with it and you have lots of success. :D
