I've been searching for a home router to connect directly to my cable internet modem that will allow me to VPN to my home network. I want to stay cheap(in the Linksys range of pricing). The problem I have is that the computer I'd be using to VPN to my home network has the Cisco VPN software installed and it has to be installed. I've read that the Cisco VPN software doesn't allow you to use other VPN software, but haven't tested that myself.
Has anyone had good results with a cheap(again, not $5, but not $300 either) VPN-enabled(not passthrough-enabled) router that I could either use the Cisco VPN software with or that I could use other VPN software with, while also having the Cisco VPN software installed?
