All,

www.vtc.com's videos specifically state that 2003 Standard does not support front/back end server configuration. While the Sybex book states you can.
Been searching for about 20 minutes and can't find any definitive answers on this. Any ideas?

    Yes, you can use Standard Edition in a Front End and Back End setup. You'd need Enterprise for other reasons such as Clustering, etc... But just having FE and BE setup alone does not require Enterprise.
