Retire of MCSA/MCSE

in MCSA / MCSE on Windows 2003 General
Can you tell me, when will be last date for gaining MCSE certification before they decide to retire it ?

How much we (that didn't gain MCSE) have time left ?

P.S. It's always better to go first on MCSA/MCSE and upgrade on MCITP, then just go only for MCITP.

    Go for MCSE. It'll still be a long time before MCSE is retired. Microsoft retired MCSE 2000 this year and it's 8 years later. You probably still have a few years left to complete MCSE 2003. Microsoft will give at least a years notice before they decide to retire MCSE 2003.
