Benefits of Local Server for Remote Citrix Users
The salespeople at my company sold a local windows server to a company
that remotes into a remote citrix environment. Now they are asking what
the purpose of the local server is.
My job is to find out benefits for having the local server since it's already
been sold to them. I'm very new to Citrix.
Any suggestions? Any place to research?

I believe that the customer doesn't have a clue but now the IT guy at the corporate is asking why they need this server.
Now my job is to find out why they need this. I really hate doing this type of thing.
Somethings I am thinking of is security and storage. -

I'm setting up one for a client to use as a domain controller at their remote site, so people can log on locally to their domain accounts and browse the internet if the T goes down. Since the use Citrix they do not really need the server, but the client wanted to reuse an old server and was looking for ideas.Andy
